Amir Esbati
Amir Esbati, born in Tehran in 1976, graduated in visual arts and architecture from the University of Tehran's Faculty of Fine Arts.
He started working in graphic design and theater set design during his student years.
His main profession is designing sets and costumes for films and stage plays. He has designed more than 50 films and series since 1983. He has also been involved in graphic design, including poster design, and film and series titling.
He is a founding member of the Stage and Costume Designers Guild of the House of Cinema, and the House of Theater. He has served on the board of directors of the House of Cinema, and has been a founding council member and the designer of the Iran's Cinema Museum.
In addition to receiving several Crystal Simorgh and House of Cinema awards for set and costume design, poster design, and advertising management, Amir Esbati has earned film critics' and cinema publications acclaim as a top designer several times. He has a long-standing collaboration with Kara Film Workshop as an art director.
