Hamila Moayed was born in 1986 in Tehran. She got her B.A in cinema film director. She started working in 2005 and is currently one of the editors of Iranian cinema. Hamila Moayed has collaborated with prominent editors in more than 30 documentary films as an editor, 18 short films and series editing, and more than 20 in feature films as an assistant editor. She was nominated to receive Crystal Simorgh for the best technical achievement from the 35th Fajr International Film Festival for the documentary "Platfom" and also nominated for the best editing from the 10th International Documentary film festival “Cinema Verite” for the same documentary. She has received the best editing award for the short film "Nested" from the Absurd Film Festival in Italy in 2023.

Editing 7 parts of educational series "Masterclass; New Page" is the latest work that Hamila Moayed has worked on for “Kara Film Studio”.
